I like to eat "Kougyoku" apples with the skin without slicing. I don't like the texture of sliced apples. Neither do I like cubed apples in salad. But this is a special case. I can't stop eating. There is an exquisite balance between the creamy cheese and the crunchy taste of apple.

    Recently my favorite cheese is "KIRETERU(sliced) cheese" made by YUKIJIRUSI (snow brand). It's easier than wiping the used knife after slicing the cheese. Cut the apple into 4 pieces and then slice them the size of the cheese. Put the apple in the salt water.

    You can cook this simple dish quickly and it's good with a drink. If you eat them hot, it's fine to omit the salt water.
